Mumbai: In a major step toward empowering small businesses, HDFC Bank unveiled ‘MyBusiness QR’, India’s first commerce identity QR code, at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025. The innovative solution has been launched in partnership with Vyapaarify as an extension of the bank’s popular SmartHub Vyapar merchant app, which is already used by over 2 million merchants across the country.
MyBusiness QR combines two of India’s most widely adopted digital habits — QR payments and chat — to create a seamless engagement-based online shopping experience. With this QR, merchants can instantly create a digital business profile that doubles as a commerce-ready online storefront.
Customers can scan and save the merchant’s profile directly into their phone contacts, browse products or services, and place orders with secure digital payments. The QR-enabled storefront also features search engine optimized listings, increasing merchant visibility and helping them reach more customers without additional advertising or technical effort.
HDFC Bank stated that this solution will enable SMEs to participate in the digital commerce space without large investments, complex tools, or technical expertise.
Speaking on the launch, Rajnish Prabhu, Head of Payments and Direct Banking Channels at HDFC Bank, said:
“Our vision is to empower every merchant with technology that drives business growth and customer trust. SmartHub simplified digital payments, and now MyBusiness QR provides merchants a strong foundation to thrive in the digital economy.”

Ruby Jain, Founder of Vyapaarify, added: “Our mission is to give every small business a simple digital identity that customers can find, save, and engage with. Together with HDFC Bank, we are introducing an industry-first QR that brings identity, discovery, engagement, and commerce into one platform.”
With this launch, HDFC Bank and Vyapaarify have taken a significant step toward digital inclusion, making it easier not only to collect payments but also to build a strong online presence.
Additionally, HDFC Bank showcased next-generation payment solutions based on UPI and Digital Rupee at GFF 2025, reinforcing its leadership in driving safe, smart, and scalable digital transactions across India.
