Celebrated thought leaders inspire youth under the theme “Mindshift – The Power of New Perspectives”
Lucknow– Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, witnessed the grandeur of the globally renowned TEDx Talk 2025, bringing together celebrated thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers under the central theme “Mindshift – The Power of New Perspectives.” Recognized worldwide as a prestigious platform for powerful and disruptive ideas, TEDx Talks aim to ignite change and meaningful dialogue. The event at Amity not only marked a milestone for the University but also added to the pride of the city of Lucknow.
This edition of TEDx Talks saw a line-up of distinguished speakers who challenged conventional beliefs and inspired the youth to embrace new possibilities. Among the prominent speakers were Mr. Sudeep Kumar (Corporate Leader & Author), Kena Shree (Award-winning Writer & Storyteller), Ishan Sharma (Youth Influencer & Digital Educator), and Prateek Rastogi (Shark Tank-fame Technology Strategist & Entrepreneur). Each speaker shared transformative experiences and ideas that resonated strongly with the audience.
Welcoming the guests, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisth, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Lucknow, shared the vision and mission of Amity’s Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering innovation and leadership.
Addressing critical issues of hunger and malnutrition, Shark Tank-fame entrepreneur Prateek Rastogi highlighted the role of technology in agriculture. He stressed that artificial intelligence could be harnessed to predict weather patterns, assess soil and water conditions, and enhance crop productivity. Advocating for biofortified grains and pulses, he described them as the future of nutrition, ensuring healthier diets without the need for additional supplements.
Speaking on women empowerment, writer Kena Shree underlined the importance of treating women as ordinary human beings rather than expecting them to be “superwomen.” She emphasized that responsibilities of family care, child-rearing, and professional work should be shared equally to allow women the freedom to live balanced lives.
Digital educator Ishan Sharma discussed insights from his book “Unicorn Secret” and encouraged students to cultivate innovation-driven mindsets, while corporate leader Sudeep Kumar talked on how to becoming successful entrepreneurs.
The event was graced by key dignitaries including Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Tiwari (Deputy Pro VC, Amity Lucknow), Dr. Qamar Rahman (Dean, Research Science & Technology), Dr. Rajesh Tiwari (Dean, Academics), and Dr. Alpana Srivastava (Officiating Head, Amity Business School). A large gathering of students also participated with enthusiasm, making the event a vibrant exchange of ideas.
