Free Health Camp Organized Under Rashtriya Vayoshree Yojana at St. Angel’s Public School, Rajaji Puram

Lucknow: A free health camp was organized at St. Angel’s Public School, Rajaji Puram under the Rashtriya Vayoshree Yojana, led by Councilor  Gauri Sawaria and  Shivpal Sawaria, in collaboration with Kiran Foundation. The initiative aimed to provide medical assistance and preventive care to senior citizens and local residents.

Doctors from Max Hospital, Medanta Hospital, T.S. Mishra Clinic, and German Homeopathy Clinic attended the event, conducting OPD check-ups for approximately 700 people and offering medical advice and treatments for various health issues.

As part of the Vayoshree Yojana, around 270 senior citizens aged 60 and above were registered to receive free assistive devices, including wheelchairs, walking sticks, and hearing aids.

The program’s success was supported by the presence of community members and volunteers, including Shri Anjani Srivastava, Shri Santosh Srivastava, Ishan Sharma, Prashant Seth, Raghvendra Awasthi, Manas Mitra, Abhay Upadhyay, Abhishek Gupta, Atul Singh, Arjun Sharma, and Shubham Yadav. Members of the Royal Family of Awadh, including Nawab Syed Mohammad Asad, were also present.

The Kiran Foundation expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees by presenting them with commemorative mementos for their support in making the event a success.

The camp highlighted the ongoing efforts to enhance senior citizens’ health and well-being while promoting community participation in welfare programs.
