Foreign Mahamandaleshwars Laud Maha Kumbh 2025 

Prayagraj – International Mahamandaleshwars attending the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela have praised the Uttar Pradesh government’s efforts in organizing the massive event, which is hosting millions of devotees. Reflecting on their spiritual journeys, they also commended the enduring values of Sanatana Dharma, describing it as a path of love, peace, and community.

Global Voices on Sanatana Dharma

Tokyo-based spiritual leader Rajeshwari Maa Mahamandaleshwar highlighted the profound teachings of Sanatana Dharma. Sharing her spiritual journey, she said, “Learning about Atma, the self, and realizing that all solutions lie within oneself was transformative. Sanatana Dharma is a science that teaches us harmony.”

Rajeshwari Maa, attending her fourth Kumbh, marveled at the scale and organization of the event, adding, “The preparation is amazing. With 400 million people attending, this is the biggest Kumbh I’ve ever seen. The government has done a fantastic job.”

A U.S.-based psychologist and Mahamandaleshwar expressed his admiration for the Kumbh Mela’s profound impact, stating, “Every Kumbh is a life-changing experience. It is pure, joyous, and full of vigor. Sanatana Dharma offers peace, joy, and fulfillment, making it the path to harmony.”

French spiritual leader Hayendra Das Maharaj Mahamandaleshwar reflected on his 40-year journey with Sanatana Dharma. “Every breath in India is full of Shakti. The Kumbh recharges my spiritual energy and brings me closer to devotion, love, and peace,” he remarked.

Sanatana Dharma and the Maha Kumbh

Described as one of the world’s largest religious gatherings, the Maha Kumbh attracts millions of devotees from India and abroad. Key ritual dates include:

  • January 29: Mauni Amavasya (Second Shahi Snan)
  • February 3: Basant Panchami (Third Shahi Snan)
  • February 12: Maghi Purnima
  • February 26: Maha Shivaratri

The event, which began on January 13 and will conclude on February 26, represents a unique blend of devotion and cultural heritage.

Robust Security Measures

To ensure safety, over 10,000 police personnel, including paramilitary forces and municipal police, have been deployed. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has stationed a “water ambulance” near the Sangam for emergency support.
