Atishi Credits Arvind Kejriwal as Delhi’s Champion for Underprivileged

New Delhi: As Delhi gears up for the 2025 Assembly elections, AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi praised her predecessor, Arvind Kejriwal, for his relentless efforts in uplifting the underprivileged. Addressing a rally in Tilak Nagar, Atishi emphasized the transformative governance of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) under Kejriwal’s leadership and urged voters to support the party in the upcoming polls.

“Arvind Kejriwal is the only leader in Delhi’s history who has consistently worked for the poor,” Atishi remarked. Highlighting his decade-long tenure as Chief Minister, she pointed to AAP’s groundbreaking reforms in education and civic infrastructure.

“Delhi is now the only city where electricity is available 24 hours a day,” she said. “Ten years ago, government schools lacked basic facilities, but today, our schools provide better amenities than private ones. Many of our students are now gaining admission to prestigious institutions like IITs and top medical colleges.”

The rally also saw Atishi calling on the people of Tilak Nagar to once again back the AAP, citing their victories in 2013, 2015, and 2020 as a mandate for progress.
