Lucknow: A religious programme dedicated to the martyrdom of Sahib Guru Arjan Dev Ji has commenced at Gurudwara Alambagh, Lucknow, with devotional participation from the sangat. Around 100 women devotees actively took part in the opening of the Sukhmani Sahib recitation series, reflecting deep faith and spiritual enthusiasm.
The ongoing programme will continue from May 6 to June 14, 2026, with daily recitations of Sri Sukhmani Sahib scheduled from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In addition, special weekly recitations will be held every Sunday from 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM.
As part of the series, a martyrdom Kirtan Samagam will also be organised. The grand event is scheduled for June 13, 2026 (Saturday) from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM and June 14, 2026 (Sunday) from 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Renowned Ragi Bhai Amritpal Singh from Amritsar is expected to participate and perform during the spiritual gathering.

Throughout the programme, Guru Ka Langar will be served daily with the collective support of the sangat, promoting the Sikh tradition of selfless service and community sharing.
The organising committee has appealed to devotees to actively participate in seva and contribute to the smooth conduct of the religious events. The programme is being observed with devotion, unity, and spiritual reverence by the community.
