Lucknow: In a significant organisational expansion move, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Janshakti) has strengthened its youth leadership structure by appointing Kaustubh Agarwal as the District President of its Youth Wing in Lucknow.
The announcement was made during a meeting held in Daliganj as part of a nationwide membership drive being carried out under the guidance of National President Thakur Dharmendra Kumar Singh. The initiative aims to strengthen the organisation both ideologically and structurally across the country.
The meeting was led by State President Devendra Shukla, who emphasised the importance of youth participation in strengthening the organisation’s grassroots presence. He said that the inclusion of young leadership is expected to bring new energy and direction to the movement.
Speaking on the appointment, Devendra Shukla said, “Kaustubh Agarwal’s induction as District President of the Youth Wing will provide a new direction and momentum to the organisation. His leadership will help in expanding the organisation’s reach among the youth.”

The decision is being viewed as part of the organisation’s broader strategy to engage young members and expand its influence at the district and state levels. Leaders present at the meeting expressed confidence that the new appointment will help in further strengthening the organisation’s outreach and activities in Lucknow.
