Tributes Paid on Death Anniversary of Chaudhary Ajit Singh in Lucknow

Lucknow: The death anniversary of former Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) national president Chaudhary Ajit Singh was observed with reverence at the party’s Uttar Pradesh state headquarters in Lucknow. The event was organized under the leadership of State President Dr. Ramashish Rai.

Party leaders, workers, and supporters gathered to pay floral tributes to the portrait of Chaudhary Ajit Singh and remembered his contributions to farmers and rural communities across the country.

The programme was conducted by Rohit Agarwal. Senior leaders highlighted Ajit Singh’s lifelong commitment to the welfare of farmers, labourers, and marginalised sections of society.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ramashish Rai said that Chaudhary Ajit Singh was a true champion of farmers’ rights and consistently raised their concerns at the national level. He said that the late leader’s principles and ideology continue to serve as a guiding force for party workers.

“He always fought for the rights of farmers, workers, and the poor. His vision remains an inspiration for all of us,” Dr. Rai said, urging party members to follow his path and work towards ensuring justice for the last person in society.

Several senior leaders present at the event also shared their memories and paid homage to Chaudhary Ajit Singh’s political and social contributions. They pledged to uphold his ideals and continue working for the welfare of rural communities.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders, including senior leader Anil Dubey, Wasim Haider, Aditya Vikram Singh, Manoj Singh Chauhan, Ramawati Tiwari, Preeti Srivastava, Chandrakant Awasthi, Ankur Saxena, K. G. Verma, Afsar Ali, Pramod Shukla, Chaudhary Ram Singh Patel, P. K. Pathak, Satya Prakash Tiwari, Sartaj Malik, Arif Mehmood, Anita Yadav, Maya Devi, Shahzad, and many others.

The programme concluded with renewed commitment from party workers to carry forward the legacy of Chaudhary Ajit Singh and strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level.
