Mumbai: Anmol TV’s first original show, Hamari Radha, continues to engage viewers with its intriguing storyline and nuanced portrayal of relationships. As the show gears up for a special Raksha Bandhan track, the celebrations are set to bring a major twist to the lives of Radha, Girdhar and Shanaya.
During the upcoming episodes, gifts sent by Girdhar are accidentally exchanged between Radha and Shanaya. While Shanaya is furious after receiving a gift different from what she expected, the bigger revelation comes when Radha opens her gift in front of the family. The situation takes a dramatic turn when she discovers a letter along with the gift. What does the gift contain, and what does the letter reveal? Could Radha finally uncover a secret about Girdhar and Shanaya’s relationship?

Amid the storyline, actress Simran Kaur, who plays Radha, has opened up about her own Raksha Bandhan tradition. Although Simran is a single child, she shares a close bond with her cousins, whom she considers no different from biological siblings. Every year, the cousins celebrate the festival by tying rakhi to one another.
For Simran, the essence of Raksha Bandhan goes beyond the ritual of tying a thread. She believes siblinghood is built on love, care and standing by each other through difficult times. She also feels that protecting and caring for one another should be a shared responsibility between brothers and sisters.
“Raksha Bandhan has always been very special to me because it strengthens the bond between siblings—a relationship built not just through tying a rakhi, but through love, care and being there for each other,” Simran said.

She added that although she is a single child, she feels fortunate to have cousins whom she has always regarded as siblings. “Every year, we tie rakhi to each other,” she said, adding that festivals such as Raksha Bandhan offer families an opportunity to pause amid busy lives, reconnect and remind loved ones of their importance.
Meanwhile, Hamari Radha is heading towards an emotional phase as Radha’s growing doubts about Girdhar begin to test the trust in their relationship. Whether her questions will eventually lead her to the truth about Girdhar and Shanaya remains to be seen.
Hamari Radha airs every night at 9:30 pm exclusively on Anmol TV.
