Lucknow – Professor Sanjay Dhiraj has officially assumed charge as the Head of the Department of Anesthesia at the institute today. He succeeds Professor Prabhat Tiwari, who retired from service on October 31, 2025.
On this occasion, the institute’s Chief Medical Superintendent, Professor Devendra Gupta, extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Professor Dhiraj on taking over the new responsibility.
Several members of the department were present to convey their greetings, including Senior Technical Officers Chandresh Kumar Kashyap, Dheeraj Singh, Amit Yadav, Barati Lal, Sunil Prakash Verma, and S.K. Singh, as well as Private Secretary to the Head of Department Mahendra Verma, and office staff Shankar Lal and Pawan Dubey.
The event marked a warm and cordial transition in the department, with faculty and staff expressing confidence in Professor Dhiraj’s leadership and commitment to academic and clinical excellence.
