Greater Noida: The Yogi government’s commitment to transforming Uttar Pradesh into ‘Uttam Pradesh’ is making significant strides, particularly through initiatives aimed at boosting industrial development. A notable example of this effort was the UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2024, which recently concluded at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
Principal Secretary of the Information Department, Sanjay Prasad, visited various stalls on the fourth day of the five-day event. His tour included stops at numerous departmental displays, including those from the Information Department. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with entrepreneurs showcasing their products and services, exploring the opportunities presented by the trade show.
He engaged with entrepreneurs who shared insights on various topics, including business growth, access to broader markets, and increased income opportunities stemming from the event. He expressed optimism about the potential for business advancement as a result of these discussions.
The Principal Secretary also took the time to review and commend the efforts of the relevant departments showcased at the stalls. He remarked that the second edition of the UP International Trade Show is proving to be just as successful as the inaugural event, thanks to the capable leadership of the state government.
He emphasized that, similar to the previous edition, this trade show is paving the way for entrepreneurs to secure more business opportunities. He said that the event is an outstanding platform for accelerating industrial development in Uttar Pradesh.
