AI Makes Learning Easier at Sarvodaya Schools in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: Artificial intelligence (AI) is helping students at Sarvodaya Schools run by the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department make learning more engaging and accessible, enabling them to understand difficult subjects, solve problems and strengthen their analytical skills.

AI-based tools are assisting students in finding solutions to challenging questions, addressing subject-related queries and improving their understanding of concepts. The use of digital technology is also helping them develop digital literacy, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

With AI assistance, students can understand mathematical problems step by step, explore complex scientific principles through examples and resolve language-related difficulties. They can also access practice materials tailored to their learning needs, revise lessons, identify mistakes and improve their preparation at their own pace.

The technology is being used under teachers’ guidance to make classroom learning more effective and support students according to their individual requirements. It also offers opportunities to explore new learning methods and develop skills relevant to an increasingly technology-driven world.

Asim Arun, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Social Welfare, said the appropriate use of technology could make education simpler and more effective.

He said AI was helping students learn new things, improve their abilities and prepare for the challenges of a changing world. However, he emphasised that the technology must be used safely and responsibly.

The initiative reflects the growing role of digital tools in education, with AI offering additional support to students in understanding academic concepts and developing independent learning and critical-thinking skills.
