Prayagraj: In recognition of their exceptional and commendable work during the Mahakumbh Mela, several senior police officials were honored in the presence of Additional Police Commissioner (Law & Order), Prayagraj Commissionerate, Ajay Pal Sharma. The awards were presented by Tarun Gaba.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Neeraj Pandey (IPS), was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Director General of Police (DGP), Uttar Pradesh.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (City), Abhijeet Kumar (IPS), and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Gangapur), Pushkar Verma (IPS), were honored with the DGP’s Silver Medal for Excellence.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Praveen Singh Chauhan, received the DGP’s Diamond Medal, while Assistant Commissioner of Police, Anshuman Mishra, and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Aseem Chaudhary, were awarded the DGP’s Gold Medal for their outstanding contributions.
The ceremony was attended by officials from Gangapur, Yamunanagar, and the city, along with Assistant Commissioner of Police (Lines), Prayagraj Commissionerate.
