Lucknow: State Prison Minister Dara Singh Chauhan participated as the Chief Guest in the passing out parade of trainee officers and jail wardens of Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand at Sampurnanand Prison Training Institute, Lucknow.
The Prison Minister congratulated the trained officers and jail wardens and said that this achievement achieved through your hard work and dedication would not have been possible without the support of your family members. All of you have performed an excellent parade, which is a moment of pride and emotion for all of us. He said that all should work with honesty and integrity, so that better results can be achieved.
DGP/IG Prison P.V. Rama Shastri also addressed the trainees at the ceremony and said that training is of utmost importance in disciplined forces. This enhances the personality of the uniformed person and he gets equipped with the knowledge of rules and laws.
Director and DIG of the Training Institute R N Pandey administered the oath of office and secrecy to all the new jail superintendents and jail wardens. A total of 142 trainees successfully completed their training and took the oath of office and secrecy. Sachin Verma, Abhishek Singh, Aman Kumar Singh, Manjeev Vishwakarma and Ashish Jha from Uttar Pradesh completed the training of Jail Superintendent cadre.
Along with this, 12 Assistant Jail Superintendents from Chhattisgarh, 110 from Uttarakhand and 20 Jail Warders from Uttar Pradesh also participated in this parade.
On this occasion, DG CB CID SN Sabat, former DG Special Inquiry Chandra Prakash, AIG Dharmendra Singh, DIG Shailendra Kumar Maitray, DIG Ramdhani, Senior Superintendent of Police SC Shakya, DIG Jail SS Tigga of Chhattisgarh, DIG Dadhiram Maurya of Uttarakhand along with many other officers and family members of the trainees were present.
