Lucknow: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow, celebrated the New Year with the successful organization of the IEEE IGNITE 2025 program. The event was hosted by the IEEE Student Branch.
The inauguration ceremony was led by the institute’s Director, Prof. Vineet Kansal, senior IEEE member and Branch Counselor Prof. Neelam Srivastava, and ECE Department Head Prof. Subodh Wariya, along with other faculty members.
The event highlighted the IEEE Student Branch’s achievements over the years and discussed plans for hosting inter-institutional events in 2025. Prof. Kansal encouraged the members for their contributions and suggested involving other departments in IEEE initiatives.
The program also recognized registered IEEE Student Branch members for their dedication and contributions. Faculty members, research scholars, and students from ECE and Electrical Engineering actively participated, reflecting enthusiasm for fostering innovation and collaboration. The event concluded with a commitment to advancing technical excellence.
