Lucknow: Participants of the ‘International Children’s Camp,’ hosted by City Montessori School (CMS), were enchanted by the cultural heritage and Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb of Lucknow. The young guests, aged 11–12, hail from seven countries, including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, and India, living together and exemplifying the spirit of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam.
During a city tour, the students visited landmarks like UP Darshan Park and Bara Imambara, experiencing Lucknow’s unique harmony of cultures. They relished traditional Indian delicacies and shared their admiration for India. “We’ve read about India’s history, but witnessing its culture and warmth is unforgettable. We’d love to return,” they said.
CMS is hosting the 29th International Children’s Camp under CISV England’s aegis, providing comprehensive arrangements including food, lodging, tours, and medical facilities. Rishi Khanna, Head of Communications at CMS, emphasized the camp’s aim to promote cultural exchange and global brotherhood, fostering a spirit of world peace among children.
