Lucknow: From January 3–5, 2025, IIM Lucknow proudly hosted Sangharsh 2025, the prestigious inter-IIM sports festival. Bringing together athletes from IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, and Lucknow, the event celebrated teamwork, resilience, and the indomitable spirit of competition.
With over 900 participants, including 260 from the host institution, the festival featured 20+ sports, ranging from basketball and football to chess and kabaddi. IIM Lucknow triumphed with 188 points, followed by IIM Calcutta (146), Bangalore (137), and Ahmedabad (101).
The opening ceremony, inaugurated by Director Prof. Archana Shukla, featured inspiring speeches from Olympian para-athlete Simran Sharma and IIM alumnus Deepak Giri. Vibrant matches and roaring crowds marked the event, culminating in IIM Lucknow securing 16 golds.
The closing ceremony, graced by Paralympian Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj, resonated with optimism and joy. IIM Lucknow expressed gratitude to all participants and passed the baton to IIM Ahmedabad, the host for Sangharsh 2026, ensuring the legacy continues.
