The birth anniversary was celebrated as Parakram Diwas (Day of Valor), a tradition started in 2021 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honor the immense contributions of Netaji. On this occasion, CM Yogi urged the youth to imbibe the ideals of Netaji and actively participate in nation-building.

A Life Dedicated to the Nation
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897, in Cuttack, Odisha. He graduated with a first-class degree in Philosophy in 1918. Later, he became a prominent leader of the radical wing of the Indian National Congress and played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle by establishing the Indian National Army (Azad Hind Fauj).
Deeply influenced by the Bhagavad Gita, Netaji dedicated his entire life to the nation’s cause. CM Yogi, while remembering Bose’s unparalleled sacrifices and contributions, encouraged the youth to follow in his footsteps and draw inspiration from his life of unwavering commitment to India’s independence.
