Lucknow: Ahead of the budget session, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the newly constructed main gate of the Vidhan Bhavan. Along with the inauguration, various murals depicting India’s historical events and political system were unveiled in the assembly complex.
As part of the initiative to make the assembly more high-tech and artistically appealing, the newly created murals also illustrate different episodes from the Bhagavad Gita. This enhancement has significantly enriched the grandeur and aesthetic appeal of the Vidhan Bhavan.
The old wooden gate has been replaced with a modern, intricately carved and robust steel gate, reinforcing the structural strength and artistic elegance of the assembly premises. Continuous efforts are being made to modernize and beautify the assembly, with a particular focus on integrating technological advancements while preserving its historical and cultural essence.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, including Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, Leader of the House and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, and Congress leader Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona.’
Following the inauguration ceremony, an all-party meeting was held, attended by key leaders from both the ruling and opposition parties, setting the stage for discussions ahead of the upcoming budget session.
