Bareilly: As elections are approaching, the administration is extra vigilant about any malpractice that can impact free and fair polls. In order to maintain a close watch District Election Officer inspected the election control room located at Collectorate
Bareilly. DM / District Election Officer Ravindra Kumar inspected the control room set up in the Collectorate with a view to ensure safe conduct of the Lok Sabha Elections-2024. Keeping information about the location of FST and SST teams at the time of inspection, monitoring their vehicles through GPS, getting the complaints received on C Vigil app resolved within the stipulated time, getting seizure proceedings done through ESMS (Election Seizure Management System). Instructions were given.
During the inspection, instructions were given that for whatever problems the voters may have, they should contact the helpline website and the concerned BLO. Can be contacted. The list of BLOs should also be pasted in the control room. At the time of inspection, instructions were given that any advertisement related to any political party must be cut and kept in MCMC (Media Certification and Monitoring Committee). At the time of inspection, Additional District Magistrate Administration Dinesh, Additional District Magistrate City Saurabh Dubey, Nodal Officer Control Room and all officers/employees were present.
