Bareilly: Bareilly DM Ravindra Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the district hospital.

At the time of inspection, the District Magistrate inquired about the treatment from the patients present in the OPD. On which the patients informed that all the services are being provided properly. He also checked the presence of doctors.

The Bareilly DM gave instructions to take prompt action in malaria cases and conduct tests etc. Along with this, instructions were given to make malaria ward near the entry point of the hospital and to indicate the malaria examination room through signage so that the patients can be informed. There should not be any kind of inconvenience.

Necessary instructions were given regarding issuing notice to the concerned agency if cleanliness was not found proper in the district hospital at the time of inspection. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vishram Singh and other concerned officers were present at the time of inspection.

Inspections have become a regular feature to maintain quality standards. Under the government’s ambitious ‘Kayakalp’ scheme, many things had changed in the district hospital in recent years. The hospital management had made arrangements  to ensure that everything was in place for the team as per the standards. The teams have found things in order in the wards and facilities prim and proper. During this, the hospital manager informed the team about the facilities being provided to the patients in the hospital and the working behavior of the staff.

Decorations were done in the physiotherapy ward of the district hospital. A game center was also made for the staff to play. Teams in recent years have kept a close eye on the physiotherapy ward, during which the team found everything better here. The team also praised this. After this the team reached the child ward. Here sister in-charge Daisy Lal was asked about the process of washing hands, the team looked satisfied after getting the correct answer.

Not so long ago, a team talked about pasting the list of mobile numbers of the staff outside the ward. On which the Sister Incharge expressed her objection and said that since there is a female staff, if the list of numbers is pasted then someone may cause trouble if the private number becomes public. It will be possible to make the number public only after receiving a CUG number from the government.
