Ahmedabad: Gujarat Titans concluded Season Two of the ‘Junior Titans’ initiative in Ahmedabad, celebrating a successful partnership with Pokémon. The ‘Let’s Sport Out’ initiative, aimed at promoting outdoor sports among children under 14, saw participation from over 5000 children across 106 schools in Gujarat.
The event, which traveled through Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Palanpur, and Ahmedabad, featured Pikachu meet-and-greets, exciting challenges, and sports activities. Selected children will enjoy a live Gujarat Titans match during the upcoming cricket season, with fans also set to interact with Pikachu through digital integration at Narendra Modi Stadium’s fan zone.
Colonel Arvinder Singh, COO of Gujarat Titans, expressed joy over the initiative’s growing reach, while Susumu Fukunaga of The Pokémon Company emphasized the importance of fun and holistic growth through sports. LALIGA led football workshops, Bisleri provided water, and SG supplied sports equipment, ensuring a memorable experience that encouraged an active lifestyle among young participants.
