Mumbai: The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) Season 2 concluded with Majhi Mumbai emerging as champions after a thrilling three-wicket win over Srinagar Ke Veer in a nail-biting final at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium. Ankur’s massive six sealed Mumbai’s victory, making up for their runner-up finish last season.

The 20-day tournament brought together youthful energy and seasoned talent, delivering edge-of-the-seat thrillers and electrifying performances. Endorsed by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, ISPL has become a platform for street cricketers to shine. Tendulkar, alongside core committee members Ashish Shelar, Suraj Samat, Minal Amol Kale, and Bollywood icons Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, graced the finale.

Srinagar posted 120/5, powered by Akash Tarekar’s unbeaten 59. Mumbai’s Vijay Pawle (22*) and Birendra (14*) turned the tide, with Ankur’s final-over six sealing the win. ISPL not only showcased talent but also provided financial security, with Mumbai’s Abhishek Kumar Dalhor becoming the season’s most expensive player at Rs 20.50 lakh.
