Lucknow: Quick action and timely intervention by the Krishnanagar Police helped save the life of a young man who allegedly consumed a poisonous substance in the LDA First Chowki area of Lucknow.
The incident was reported on September 3, when a patrolling police team received information that a youth had consumed a poisonous substance near Reading Cafe. Acting swiftly on the information, LDA First Chowki In-charge Sub-Inspector Pradeep Kumar Singh, along with his team, reached the spot under the direction of the Krishnanagar Station House Officer.
Without wasting time, the police personnel rushed the youth to a nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment. Timely medical intervention ensured that he received the necessary care.
During preliminary questioning, the youth reportedly told the police that he had taken the poisonous substance due to personal problems.
The police team immediately informed his family members about the incident. The family reached the hospital and was briefed about his condition. After receiving the required medical care, the youth was handed over safely to his family.
The prompt response and humanitarian approach of the Krishnanagar Police ensured that the youth received medical assistance without delay. His family members expressed their gratitude to the police personnel and appreciated their timely intervention and sensitivity in handling the situation.
