Mumbai: The makers of Dulhaniya Le Aayegi have unveiled the film’s trailer, offering audiences a lively glimpse into a family entertainer packed with comedy, romance, emotional moments and the chaos of an unconventional wedding. Directed by Akashaditya Lama, the trailer has already generated buzz for its vibrant storytelling and ensemble cast.
Centred around a bride racing against time, the story takes an unexpected turn as several potential grooms enter her life, setting off a series of humorous misunderstandings, heartfelt moments and surprising twists. The trailer balances light-hearted comedy with family relationships, hinting at an entertaining narrative that unfolds amid colourful wedding celebrations.
Featuring Khushalii Kumar, Mahesh Manjrekar and Piyush Mishra in key roles, the trailer showcases lively performances, sharp comic timing and emotional family dynamics. Speaking about the film, director Akashaditya Lama said every wedding has its share of drama, but in Dulhaniya Le Aayegi, the excitement begins well before the wedding ceremony. He noted that the trailer was crafted to leave viewers smiling while building curiosity about the twists awaiting them in the full story. According to him, the film combines humour, emotion and relatable characters to create an engaging cinematic experience.
Khushalii Kumar described her role as one of the most enjoyable characters she has portrayed. She said the character is confident, unpredictable and full of surprises, adding that the trailer captures the film’s vibrant energy while only hinting at the complete journey audiences will witness on screen.
Veteran actor Mahesh Manjrekar highlighted the film’s simplicity and emotional honesty as its greatest strengths. “The beauty of Dulhaniya Le Aayegi is that it doesn’t try to entertain you—it naturally draws you into its world and makes you smile,” he said. He added that his character’s desire to do the best for his family gives emotional depth to the comedy, making the story relatable as well as entertaining.
