Mumbai: Sony SAB’s Yaadein continues to blend warmth, humour and heartfelt storytelling against the backdrop of a bustling hospital. As Dr Dev, played by Iqbal Khan, strives to rebuild his life, the upcoming episodes promise an emotional turning point that will test both his resilience and his heart.
In the new storyline, Dr Sunny (Anurag Sharma) repeatedly attempts to sabotage Dr Dev by increasing his medication dosage ahead of his final interview. Despite these setbacks, Dr Dev successfully clears the interview and officially returns to the hospital as a doctor, reclaiming the white coat that once defined his identity and career.
However, his professional triumph is overshadowed by a deeply personal setback when Dr Srishti (Gulki Joshi) hands him her wedding invitation, making it clear that she has chosen to move forward with her life. The unexpected revelation leaves Dev heartbroken and forces him to confront the emotional reality of letting go.

He explained that for Dev, returning as a doctor is about much more than clearing an interview or wearing the white coat again—it’s about reclaiming his identity. But just as he begins to believe his life is falling back into place, Srishti’s wedding invitation changes everything.
Iqbal added that although Dev still has strong feelings for Srishti, he chooses not to react impulsively. Instead, he internalises his pain, allowing viewers to witness a more mature and emotionally grounded version of the character. According to the actor, Dev does not become bitter or distant; rather, he grows stronger, more determined and more focused on the path ahead.
