Lucknow: Lucknow Bioscope hosted an engaging storytelling session titled “Of Courage and Feminism” for children at its venue on 130, J.C. Bose Marg, Qaiser Bagh. The session was conducted by noted storyteller and filmmaker Apurva Shah, who brought together literature, performance, and meaningful conversations on empathy and equality.
The event featured dramatic readings from thoughtfully curated children’s books such as Freedom Braids and The Girl Who Makes Mistakes. The session emphasized that courage is more valuable than perfection and highlighted the importance of every individual voice. “Stories are the most powerful way to reach a child’s inner consciousness,” said Apurva Shah. She added that shared reading experiences help nurture empathy and shape values that children carry into adulthood.
