Lucknow: The second day of Amiphoria-2026 at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus unfolded as a spectacular celebration of fashion, innovation, and professional excellence. A grand industry-style fashion show transformed the campus into a vibrant runway arena, complete with immersive lighting, synchronized sound, and a professionally curated stage setup that mirrored leading fashion platforms.
In a remarkable display of interdisciplinary collaboration, student models from various departments confidently showcased creations by budding designers from the Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT). Their poised ramp walk and expressive presentation brought each collection to life, reflecting the students’ ability to conceptualize and execute a complete fashion production aligned with real-world industry standards.
Organized under the theme “Explore, Experience, Enjoy,” the university’s annual cultural festival featured the prestigious Amity Designers Award 2026. A total of 55 designers presented their collections through 75 models. Themes included “Frida Kahlo” by second-year students, “Jewelishq” by third-year designers, and “Effortless Diva” by invited participants.
Winners were announced across categories, recognizing outstanding creativity and craftsmanship. The event also featured inter-university participation and was judged by eminent academicians and industry professionals.
Beyond fashion, the campus buzzed with diverse competitions including ‘Aap Ki Adalat,’ ‘Virtual Vortex 3.0,’ ‘Mystery Mania,’ ‘Cine-Holic,’ and ‘Bollywood Baazigar.’ A special highlight was ‘Pratibha Sangam,’ where faculty and staff showcased their talents, alongside ‘Patangbaaz,’ a vibrant kite-making competition.
The festival will conclude with a grand valedictory ceremony following a final day of cultural showcases and competitions.
