Mumbai: Sony SAB’s popular family drama Itti Si Khushi continues to resonate with audiences through its heartfelt portrayal of sibling bonds and moral dilemmas. The show follows Anvita, played by Sumbul Touqeer Khan, a young woman who shoulders the responsibility of raising her siblings amid rising tensions in Khotachiwadi.
In the current storyline, Chidiya (Aayesha Vindhara) becomes influenced by a glamorous social media personality, K Love, and begins taking up risky challenges to fit in with her friends. Concerned by her sister’s changing behaviour, Anvita gently steps in to explain the difference between right and wrong.
Sharing her experience, Sumbul revealed that these scenes felt deeply personal. She said guiding Chidiya often reminded her of conversations with her real-life sister, Saniya, as she naturally slips into a protective “elder sister mode.”
Itti Si Khushi airs Monday to Saturday at 9 PM on Sony SAB.
