Lucknow: Lucknow police on Monday displayed prompt action and sensitivity by saving the life of an 80-year-old man who was found unconscious inside his fourth-floor apartment in the Mahanagar police station area of the state capital.
According to the police, the elderly man had not responded to phone calls from friends and acquaintances since early morning, raising serious concern. After repeated failed attempts to contact him, a close associate alerted the police, suspecting that something was wrong.
Acting swiftly on the information, personnel from PRV 4844, including constable Pushpendra and his team, reached the spot without delay. Sensing the urgency of the situation, the police team climbed to the fourth floor and forcibly broke open the double-locked door of the flat.
Inside, the elderly man was found lying unconscious, with a suspected heart attack. The policemen immediately evacuated him from the apartment and rushed him to Lari Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Doctors said that timely medical intervention proved crucial in saving his life.

Soon after the incident, relatives and acquaintances of the elderly man arrived at the scene. Local residents praised the police for their quick response and decisive action, saying it prevented a possible tragedy.
The incident once again highlighted the importance of prompt policing and community alertness in emergency situations.
