Lucknow | Galaxy Health Insurance, India’s newest independent health insurance company announced its expansion into Northern India with the inauguration of a regional office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Supported by Venu Srinivasan of the TVS Group and veteran insurance expert V. Jagannathan’s family, the company aims to make affordable, accessible health insurance available across the region.
As part of this expansion, Galaxy Health Insurance plans to add over 1,000 agents across Uttar Pradesh by FY 2026, targeting coverage for 5,000 people, including underserved rural families. The initiative underscores the company’s commitment to inclusive health solutions and financial protection for those with limited access to formal healthcare systems.

Galaxy Health Insurance received its IRDAI license in March 2024. Within its first year of operations, the company established a nationwide network of over 12,000 agents and provided insurance coverage to more than 185,000 individuals.
