Massive Bhandara Organised at DPS Shaheedpath on Second Tuesday of Jyeshtha Month

New Delhi: Delhi Public School Shaheedpath hosted a grand Bhandara and Prasad distribution programme on the occasion of the second Tuesday of the holy month of Jyeshtha, drawing participation from prominent dignitaries, school officials, students, staff members, and local residents.

The religious and community event was organised under the patronage of Member of Parliament Jagdambika Pal, school Vice Chairman Abhishek Pal, and CEO Swati Pal.

The programme began with prayers and rituals dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The organisers performed traditional worship and offered bhog to Mahabali Hanuman before commencing the large-scale distribution of prasad among devotees and visitors.

Several prominent political leaders attended the event, including Rakesh Sachan, Dayashankar Singh, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, and Rajeshwar Singh. Their presence added significance to the occasion, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the local community.

Senior officials and faculty members of the school also took active part in the programme. These included Principal Manju Lakhanpal, Vice Principal Swati Singh Malhotra, and Admissions Director Divya Singh, along with teachers, administrative staff, and employees of the school group.

Students of the school and a large number of local residents joined the event and received prasad during the day-long programme. The Bhandara commenced at around 11 a.m. and continued until 4 p.m., with devotees gathering throughout the day in a spirit of faith, devotion, and community harmony.

The organisers concluded the programme with prayers seeking the blessings of Lord Hanuman and wishing for peace, prosperity, and well-being for all. The event reflected a blend of spirituality, social service, and community participation, reinforcing the cultural and religious traditions associated with the auspicious Tuesdays of the Jyeshtha month.
