Lucknow — A remarkable blend of art, faith, and devotion came to life at Fun Republic Mall, Lucknow, where an 18-foot-tall statue of Lord Shri Ram made entirely from 1.5 lakh coins of ₹1, ₹5, and ₹10 denominations was unveiled by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.
The magnificent creation, a symbol of reverence and craftsmanship, took over 20 days to complete. Around 25 skilled artisans from Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Kolkata collaborated to design this awe-inspiring idol, reflecting deep spiritual and artistic dedication.
The unique installation has earned recognition in both the Asia Book of World Records and the India Book of World Records, adding a new feather to the cultural pride of Lucknow.
Speaking at the inauguration, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said, “India is known across the world for its culture, spirituality, and values, and this statue of Lord Ram is a testament to that rich tradition. Lord Ram is our guiding light, and we must strive to walk the path shown by him. I congratulate Fun Republic Mall and General Manager Ashwini Singh for this grand and devoted initiative that celebrates our cultural heritage.”
Ashwini Singh, General Manager of Fun Republic Mall, expressed his gratitude and shared the mall’s vision behind the event:

The event will continue till Diwali, featuring a series of activities including a Contemporary Ramayana performance, a ‘Shop and Win’ contest—where the top shopper will receive a 1-gram gold coin—as well as cultural shows and competitions.”
