Mumbai: In a festive initiative blending tradition with modernity, Bhagavad Gita For All (BGFA), founded by philanthropist Prithviraj Shetty, has launched its first festival-themed campaign ahead of Diwali. Bollywood actress and wellness icon Shilpa Shetty, along with her sister Shamita Shetty, have been roped in as the faces of the campaign.
Titled “The Gift of Inner Light,” the campaign draws a parallel between the illumination of homes with lamps during Diwali and the enlightenment that the Gita’s wisdom can bring to families. Through simplified teachings, interactive presentations, and practical guidance, BGFA positions the Gita as a tool for peace, resilience, and stronger relationships in modern households.

Prithviraj Shetty emphasized that Shilpa’s dedication to yoga and holistic living makes her the perfect ambassador. “Shilpa is a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity. Her journey reflects BGFA’s mission to carry the timeless wisdom of the Gita into contemporary homes,” he said.
Sharing her thoughts, Shilpa Shetty noted: “Yoga connects us inwardly, and the Gita deepens this bond. It is more than a book—it is life’s guide. This Diwali, gifting the Gita is like gifting light, harmony, and inner strength.”

Her sister Shamita Shetty echoed this sentiment, adding that BGFA has made the Gita accessible to younger audiences in a fresh, modern format, making it a gift of inspiration for generations.
BGFA continues to reinterpret the eternal teachings of the Gita through modern storytelling and interactive mediums, establishing it as a guiding light for personal growth, mental wellness, and family harmony.
