Bank of Baroda Honors Chancellor’s Gold Medalist Nancy at AKTU’s 23rd Convocation

Lucknow: Reinforcing its commitment to encouraging academic excellence and empowering the youth, Bank of Baroda honored Nancy, a student of Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur. This recognition was presented during the 23rd convocation of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), which was held on Tuesday under the presidency of the Governor of Uttar Pradesh and Chancellor of the university, Anandiben Patel.

Nancy secured the first position, earning the Chancellor’s Gold Medal. For this remarkable academic achievement, she was awarded a prize of Rs 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand only) under the bank’s prestigious “Baroda Achievers Award.”

On this occasion, Shailendra Kumar Singh (General Manager and Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Lucknow Zone) said, “Bank of Baroda is proud to honor the extraordinary achievements of meritorious students. Through initiatives like the ‘Baroda Achievers Award,’ our aim is to inspire young people toward academic excellence and strengthen their role in nation-building.”

The convocation ceremony was graced by the presence of other distinguished guests, including astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, Minister of Technical Education for Uttar Pradesh Ashish Patel, and AKTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jay Prakash Pandey.
