50% discount on booking Uber rides from Lucknow Metro stations
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uber at Hazratganj Metro Station to provide better facilities to Lucknow Metro passengers. Under this agreement, passengers booking an Uber ride from any of the 21 Metro stations on the North-South corridor will get up to 50% discount (maximum ₹20).
On this occasion, Sushil Kumar, Managing Director, UPMRC, and Madhulika Singh Gaur, Operations Manager of New Launch Expansion of North India and Uttar Pradesh expansion, Uber, also inaugurated a kiosk with mobile charging sockets. As part of this MoU, Uber will install mobile charging sockets in the unpaid areas of all 21 Metro stations, where passengers can charge their phones free of cost.

* Up to 50% discount (maximum ₹20) on Moto rides booked from any Lucknow Metro station.
* Safe, comfortable, and quick last-mile connectivity for passengers.
* Free mobile charging points available at Metro stations.
* Uber becomes the official Last Mile Connectivity Partner of Lucknow Metro.

Currently, Rapido services are available in Lucknow. Now, Uber will also provide last-mile connectivity to passengers. In Kanpur, Metro passengers are already using Rapido, Ixigo, and special Pink services, while in Agra, Rapido is available and more feeder services will be launched soon.
UPMRC is also preparing to sign more such agreements in the coming days. These will provide affordable travel and exclusive discounts at various institutions for regular smart card users and Metro passengers.
