Hayat Institute Students Receive Tablets, Smiles All Around

LUCKNOW, Kakori — Students of the A.N.M. and G.N.M. courses at Hayat Institute of Nursing, located on Kakori Road, were beaming with joy on Thursday as they received tablets under the Uttar Pradesh government’s “Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme.” A total of 83 tablets were distributed to the deserving students, marking a significant step towards digital empowerment in education.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Maulana Zaheer Ahmed Siddiqui, the President of the institute. Other founding members, including Arshad Zaheer Siddiqui, Tariq Anwar Khan, Naseem Sahib, and Mohammad Arif, were also present and encouraged the students to make the best use of technology for their holistic development. They praised the government’s initiative, calling it a crucial step in linking education with digital platforms.

Dr. Meraj Ahmed, Principal of the Nursing College and Executive Director of Hayat Hospital, lauded the government’s effort and thanked the chief guest. He highlighted the vital role of digital tools in modern education and urged students to use them in a positive and constructive manner.

Nodal Officer Satyendra Singh informed that out of 180 enrolled students, 83 were selected for the scheme based on their e-KYC verification.

The tablets were personally handed over to the students by distinguished guests, including social workers Abdul Wahid, Imran Qureshi, and Noorain Alam; journalists Parvez Akhtar and Najam Ehsan; and Dr. Adarsh Tripathi, among others. The distribution brought visible smiles to the faces of the students, signifying a bright step forward in their academic journey.
