Over 4,100 Aspirants Participate in Recruitment Drive Under Chief Minister’s Mission Rozgar Scheme
Lucknow: A total of 310 candidates were selected by Maruti Suzuki during a mega campus placement drive organised at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Aliganj, on Thursday under the Chief Minister’s Mission Rozgar Yojana.
The recruitment drive was conducted for the post of Technical Operator at the company’s Kharkhoda plant in Sonipat, Haryana, offering employment opportunities to ITI-trained youth from across the region.
Principal Raj Kumar Yadav said the campus drive was organised in line with the Uttar Pradesh government’s employment-oriented approach to create better private-sector job opportunities for skilled youth. He urged company representatives to recruit the maximum number of eligible candidates and encouraged the selected applicants to join their assignments on time.
Placement Officer M.A. Khan said the recruitment drive witnessed an overwhelming response, with 4,157 candidates participating in the selection process. Of these, 2,105 applicants met the eligibility criteria, while 815 candidates qualified in the written examination.
Following the interview rounds, 310 candidates were offered final selection for the Technical Operator position. The selected candidates will receive a salary package of up to ₹32,000 per month, according to institute officials.
The institute credited the successful organisation of the employment drive to the efforts of instructors Makbool Qadir and Zed Rahman, along with the support of the Grey Sim Learnings Foundation staff.
The placement drive is part of the state’s continuing efforts to strengthen industry-academia linkages and enhance employment opportunities for skilled youth through partnerships with leading manufacturing companies.
