Lucknow: A grand series of district-level junior boys’ and girls’ sports tournaments were organized across multiple venues in Lucknow. Handball and boxing competitions took place at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Multipurpose Sports Complex and KD Singh Babu Stadium, while junior cricket and kabaddi were held at Chowk Stadium. The athletics competition was held at Guru Govind Singh Sports College, Kursi Road.
The event was inaugurated by MLC Avneesh Singh, who encouraged participants by interacting with players and even scoring a goal in the handball event himself. Regional Sports Officer Dr. Atul Sinha and other key officials were also present.

Various schools and academies from Lucknow participated, with boys’ and girls’ teams competing in knockout and league formats. Over 120 participants competed in handball, 84 in kabaddi, 64 in cricket, 36 in boxing, and 48 in tennis. Quarterfinals and league matches were held with final rounds.
