AAP Launches ‘Har Ghar Sampark Abhiyan’ with Special 101 to Expand Organisation Across Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow : In a significant organisational push ahead of the upcoming panchayat elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched an ambitious statewide outreach campaign titled ‘Har Ghar Sampark Abhiyan’, aimed at expanding the party’s grassroots presence across all 403 Assembly constituencies in Uttar Pradesh.

At a press conference held at the party’s state headquarters in Lucknow, Rajya Sabha MP and AAP Uttar Pradesh in-charge Sanjay Singh unveiled the campaign strategy and announced the deployment of a “Special 101 Team”. Each of these 101 organisational in-charges will be responsible for expanding the party structure across four assembly segments, thereby covering the entire state.

“Our goal is to take the politics of sewa (service) and sangharsh (struggle) to every household in Uttar Pradesh. This is not just about elections but about reaching people with real issues and building a people-centric political platform,” said Sanjay Singh.

The campaign is set to formally begin on July 11, with party workers reaching out to villages and households under the banner of AAP’s signature symbols – the broom, the party flag, and its iconic cap. The outreach is being designed to mobilise support ahead of district panchayat elections, which AAP has identified as a major opportunity to establish its presence in UP’s political landscape.

Detailed Strategy Unveiled by Party Leadership

Dilip Pandey, AAP’s UP co-in-charge and former Delhi MLA, elaborated on the plan:

This is AAP’s largest grassroots campaign in the state. The 101 organisers are being trained to mobilise and build networks across 75 districts, 403 assembly constituencies, 826 blocks, 8,000 Nyaya Panchayats, and 57,000 Gram Panchayats.”

He further explained that the campaign is structured with a multi-tier outreach model, starting from state-level workshops, cascading down to district, assembly, block, municipality, and ultimately village and ward-level worker meetings.

The training session for the 101 in-charges was also held earlier today, where they were guided on holding meetings, identifying local issues, conducting night stays in villages, and engaging with Dalit, backward, and minority communities.

“This campaign will help us understand grassroots concerns and offer solutions through the politics of service and action,” Pandey added.

September Deadline and Monitoring Plan

The ‘Har Ghar Sampark Abhiyan’ is targeted to conclude by the last week of September. Following this, AAP plans to honour the 101 organisers with certificates and recognition at zonal-level worker conventions.

Additionally, a monitoring committee will be constituted to oversee the campaign, collect field data, and ensure effective implementation.

With this large-scale mobilisation and a sharp focus on local issues, AAP hopes to emerge as a credible alternative in Uttar Pradesh’s local governance and lay the foundation for a broader electoral impact in future state and national elections.
