Lucknow – The second season of ‘Fun Ka Sports Champion’, a much-anticipated sports and entertainment event hosted by Fun Republic Mall, concluded on a high note today, leaving Lucknow’s youth and families thoroughly entertained. The 15-day sporting extravaganza, which began on June 8, culminated with a grand prize distribution ceremony where winners were awarded trophies for their performances.
The event was officially inaugurated by Priyanka Shailee Mishra, former international women’s cricketer, Chairperson of the UPCA Senior Women’s Selection Committee, and President of Lucknow’s Women’s Wing.
Over the course of two weeks, Fun Republic Mall became the hub of excitement, organizing a diverse array of daily competitions, workshops, fun-filled activities, and games. Sports such as cricket, basketball, gymnastics, weightlifting, chess, pickleball, badminton, and table tennis were featured prominently, drawing participation from enthusiastic children and young athletes across the city. A special Yoga Day celebration on June 21 transformed the mall into a space of wellness and mindfulness.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Ashwani Singh, General Manager of Fun Republic Mall, said, “Season 2 of Fun Ka Sports Champion was a unique and thrilling event where players from every corner of Lucknow showcased their talent. From June 8 to June 22, each day offered games, quizzes, workshops, and engaging competitions. Today, we celebrate not just the winners, but the spirit of participation and fun.”
