Bundelkhand University, Jhansi Highlights India’s Future Vision

Jhansi: Bundelkhand University celebrated its 29th convocation, presided over by  Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel. The event saw the conferment of 2,170 degrees and 110 research degrees, with female students receiving the majority of medals and degrees. The Governor congratulated the graduates, especially the women, emphasizing their hard work and encouraging all students to persist in their efforts for excellence.

Governor Patel urged students to acknowledge society’s role in their success and to give back through their future contributions. “Our traditions don’t seek to dominate; they aim to illuminate the world, like the sun,” she remarked, inspiring attendees to contribute to global prosperity while upholding Indian values. She encouraged students to plant a tree in honor of their mothers, symbolizing respect for both nature and maternal bonds. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of sustainable practices, urging the students to support Mission LiFE, a national initiative promoting environmentally friendly lifestyles.

During the event, the Governor presented Anganwadi Health Kits to Jhansi and Lalitpur’s District Magistrates, aiming to enhance hygiene and healthcare facilities at Anganwadi centers. Each kit, containing essentials like soap, nail cutters, and vitamins, is intended to foster hygiene awareness among young children. To further support Anganwadi centers, 300 kits were distributed, with contributions from Bundelkhand University and local district administrations.
