Prof. Bedi observed that in the era of Artificial Intelligence and technology, students were spending considerable time on digital platforms, making physical and mental fitness increasingly important. Sports, he said, not only help maintain physical health but also keep the mind active, strengthen confidence and contribute to an energetic personality.

He urged students to make sports an integral part of their lives alongside their studies. Time spent on the sports field, he said, was an investment in their health, confidence and future.

Prof. Bedi further said that the University Sports Committee, coaches and the entire sports team were continuously working to engage students in regular sporting activities. He expressed gratitude to the members of the Sports Committee, coaches and all those who contributed to the successful organisation of the three-day event.

He said the university’s objective was not limited to organising competitions but also to developing a regular sports culture among students through initiatives such as “One Hour on the Sports Field”. Such efforts, he added, would help translate the vision of “Fit India” into reality at the university level.

The three-day programme witnessed active participation from students and created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and healthy competition at the University Sports Complex.
