Skoda Auto India Accelerates Performance Legacy with New ‘G.O.A.T – Greatest On A Track’ Campaign

Udaipur: Skoda Auto India has unveiled its latest brand campaign, “G.O.A.T – Greatest On A Track,” reinforcing the company’s strong performance-driven identity and motorsport heritage.

The campaign redefines the popular phrase “G.O.A.T” — commonly known as Greatest of All Time — into Greatest On A Track, highlighting the dynamic engineering, precision handling and motorsport DNA that define the brand’s vehicle lineup.

As part of the campaign launch, Skoda Auto India achieved recognition in both the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records for setting the record for the “fastest multi-car relay by a single manufacturer on a circuit.”

The achievement was recorded at the CoASTT Track, where a fleet of five Skoda cars completed the relay in a combined time of 12:30.97, including pit-lane transitions.

Speaking about the campaign, Ashish Gupta said every Skoda vehicle is engineered to deliver precision, control and superior driving dynamics at the highest level of performance. He noted that motorsport DNA is not just a part of the brand’s identity but is deeply integrated into every Skoda car.

He added that the campaign reflects the company’s strategy of making performance-oriented driving experiences accessible across segments while maintaining high standards of safety, confidence and dynamic capability.

According to the company, the record-setting fleet included the Skoda Kylaq, Skoda Kushaq, Skoda Slavia, Skoda Octavia RS and Skoda Kodiaq. Five drivers completed the relay in a continuous format without interruption, showcasing the performance consistency of the entire fleet.

Among the vehicles, the Octavia RS clocked the fastest lap time of 2:10.85 on the 3.8-kilometre circuit, while the Kodiaq Selection L&K recorded 2:26.34. The Slavia, Kushaq and Kylaq also delivered competitive timings, demonstrating the brand’s emphasis on agility, braking performance and driving control across categories.

The company said the campaign also celebrates over 50 years of the iconic RS (Rally Sport) badge, first introduced with the Skoda 130 RS in 1975. Skoda’s motorsport roots date back to 1901, forming a key part of the brand’s global legacy.

With turbocharged engines, advanced automatic transmissions, strong safety standards and driver-focused engineering, Skoda Auto India says its current lineup reflects the same racing spirit that has shaped the company’s motorsport journey for over a century.

The campaign further strengthens the brand’s positioning as a manufacturer focused on combining performance, safety and everyday drivability for Indian consumers.
