Lucknow — In a significant development in the Shatrughan Rathore murder case, which took place on December 30, 2024, the main accused, Ranjit Kumar Vishwakarma, has been arrested by the police. The murder, which shook the community of New Haiderganj in the Thakurganj area, was a result of a sinister plot orchestrated by none other than the victim’s wife, in an attempt to hide her illicit affair.
The investigation into the case began after Shatrughan Rathore was found dead under suspicious circumstances, sparking widespread concerns in the locality. In the initial phase, police arrested three individuals, including the victim’s wife (who was also the plaintiff in the case), and sent them to jail. However, one of the primary suspects, Ranjit Kumar Vishwakarma, managed to flee the scene following the murder.
