New Delhi: The political landscape has once again heated up following a controversial remark made by Samajwadi Party (SP) National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman regarding the historical figure Rana Sanga. The statement has sparked sharp reactions, notably from Kunda MLA Raja Bhaiya, who termed it as deeply hurtful for every patriot and nationalist in the country.
Taking to social media, Raja Bhaiya strongly criticized the comment and highlighted the valor of Rana Sanga. He emphasized that the Rajput ruler fought numerous significant battles in his lifetime and achieved multiple victories in the defense of the nation and religion. Raja Bhaiya further stated that despite being a Maharana, Rana Sanga always led from the frontlines in battle. He bore over 80 wounds on his body, lost an eye and a hand, yet never received an injury on his back—an undeniable testament to his bravery and unwavering commitment to his cause.
Seizing the opportunity to address political agendas, Raja Bhaiya also condemned the politics of appeasement. He asserted that some individuals, driven by political gains or vote bank considerations, are engaged in tarnishing the legacy of great heroes by labeling them as traitors and villains. Expressing his concerns, he lamented the unfortunate reality where certain figures seek to glorify tyrannical rulers like Aurangzeb at the cost of dishonoring India’s own historical icons.
Raja Bhaiya strongly affirmed that Rana Sanga will always be remembered and revered by patriots and nationalists across the country. He also remarked that those who attempt to celebrate Aurangzeb—a ruler who imprisoned his father and brutally executed his brothers—are the ones denying the glorious history of their own land. Concluding his statement, Raja Bhaiya stated that the time has come to rewrite history and bring forth the real truth that has been overshadowed for too long.
