Lucknow: In preparation for the upcoming Muharram observances, a Peace Committee meeting was organized at Saadatganj Police Station to ensure that the festival is conducted in a peaceful, harmonious, and secure environment.
The meeting was chaired by ACP Chowk Vikram Singh and Station House Officer (SHO) Santosh Arya, who interacted with community representatives and stakeholders to discuss arrangements for the occasion.
The gathering was attended by prominent local citizens, tazia organizers, public representatives, and members of the media. During the meeting, police and administrative officials emphasized the importance of maintaining communal harmony and cooperation throughout the Muharram period.
Addressing the participants, the officers appealed to residents to uphold the spirit of brotherhood, extend full cooperation to the administration, and refrain from paying attention to rumors or unverified information that could disturb peace and public order.

Participants, including journalists and local residents, shared their suggestions and concerns regarding festival-related arrangements. The officials assured them that all relevant issues would be addressed and necessary measures would be taken to facilitate the smooth conduct of Muharram processions and related events.
The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with all stakeholders reaffirming their commitment to preserving peace, communal harmony, and mutual respect during the observance of Muharram.
