Gonda: Newly appointed Additional Commissioner of Tax (Judicial), Grade-II, Sanjay Kumar Mishra, described the legal fraternity as the guardians of both society and the justice system while addressing a felicitation ceremony organized by the Awadh Tax Bar Association in Gonda.
Transferred recently from Lucknow, Mishra received a warm welcome from members of the tax bar and legal community. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of strong coordination between the Bar and the Bench, stating that such cooperation not only helps ensure effective delivery of justice but can also provide new direction to social initiatives such as environmental conservation and sports promotion.
“Advocates are the sentinels of society and the judicial system. Better harmony between the Bar and Bench can contribute significantly to judicial interests while also encouraging broader social development,” Mishra said.
The event was attended by a large number of advocates who extended their greetings and pledged continued cooperation in strengthening the judicial process. Hiralal Kashyap and Amit Kumar Garg reaffirmed the legal fraternity’s commitment to supporting fair and efficient justice delivery.

Addressing the gathering, Amit Kumar Garg said advocates would continue to work closely with judicial authorities to ensure that citizens receive timely and impartial justice. He stressed that the legal community remains dedicated to upholding the rule of law and facilitating smooth judicial proceedings.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by several prominent members of the legal fraternity, including Alankar Singh, Shailendra Kashyap, Pawan Soni, Shambhu Tiwari, Arjun Verma, Ashok Gupta, Nilesh Srivastava, and Abhay Singh.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve by members of the Bar to work in partnership with the judiciary for the cause of justice and public welfare.
