Lucknow: In a bid to strengthen community ties and address key concerns, senior officials from the Lucknow Commissionerate Police met with Maulana Abdul Waheed Faruqui, the President of the Sahab Action Committee, at his residence today. The meeting, attended by ADC West Dhananjay Singh Kushwaha, ACP Chowk Rajkumar Singh, SHO Chowk Nagesh Upadhyay, and other officials, focused on important issues concerning law and order in the city.
A key topic discussed was the preservation of Lucknow’s renowned Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb, or cultural harmony, in the face of potential disruptions from miscreants. The officials emphasized the importance of unity and the protection of the city’s rich cultural heritage.
Maulana Abdul Waheed Faruqui, alongside the General Secretary of the Sahab Action Committee, Maulana Zaid Faruqui, participated in the discussions, offering insights and collaborating on measures to ensure peaceful coexistence in the capital.
