Lucknow: Acting on the directives of the Police Commissioner, a city-wide checking drive was launched by the Hazratganj police to ensure public safety and maintain order ahead of New Year celebrations. The campaign covered public places, including hotels, shopping malls, railway stations, bus stations, and metro stations, to prevent any untoward incidents.
